Yellow Class: Class Nº 2 "Creating A Blog"

Objetive: Students will create a blog (page) using English language, writing down personal likes, as musicians, movies. Making criticizing them and also commenting their classmates blogs.

Time: 2 classes for creating.

Number of students: Individual or peer

Sources: Computer Lab and Internet conexion

Transversal Objectives: Learn that not all personal things can be published in the web, for example: You can not publish your address, your phone number, your RUT, etc.

Contents:

- Likes and dislikes
- Critical Thinking
- Grammar.

Methodology:

-Brainstorming about "blog"
-Definition of a blog and bloggers.
-Give examples of real blogs.
-Descriptions about this theme
-Give instructions about the task in class "Creating a blog"
-Close the class, asking questions about what is a blog, what can we write in a blog and what we can not, etc.

"CREATING A BLOG"

Instructions: Create a blog where you can express your likes, dislikes, things about you.

First Steps:

1.- Go to this url page: http://www.blogger.com/

2.- Using your Gmail or Hotmail account of you mail like: anakaren@hotmail.com (that is mine) Create your own blog.
3.- Press the icon "NEW BLOG"
4.- Choose a title. (your name, your nickname or the whaterver that it will be the title of your blog)
5.- Choose a url address (this will be the link that is located your blog, you can share this link to people that you want to see your blog)
6.- Choose a template desing. (this is the topic or the theme with images, colors and designs of spaces for your blog)

When your Blog is already created, you can start to create

Second Steps:

1.- Press the icon of "VIEW BLOG" (here you can see how the others people can see your blog)
2.- Press "SETTING" (here is where you can change your or add pages, descriptions, change privacy, etc. Just try pressing buttons and don't be afraid)

3.- Press the link "ACCOUNT SETTING" that is in your right upper where is your name or your nickname. (here is where you can add personal information about you. Warning! you can't share so personal information about you such as address, phone numbers or things that are privated. There are some difference between personal and private.

4.- Lets start with your first post for this Press "CREATE NEW POST" (here is where you can write, site, comment, critizing, ask or link things as web pages, images,etc)
